Knowledge and Interests[edit | edit source]

I have a long time interest in chess. I don't play in tournaments any more, but I do compose chess endings. I had 4 published in Pal Benko's column Benko's Bafflers in Chess Life in 2005.

I am a Software Engineer by profession. In the early 70's, I worked in the chess program COKO III. At about the same time I created a program which would solve mates in 2 and 3, and used it to find cooks (second solutions) to published chess problems.
