Summary

Description
English: The slice sensitivity profile (SSP) for helical scanning as a function of pitch. An idealised rectangular SSP of width 5 mm is assumed for conventional scanning (pitch=0). SSPs are obtained by convolution of this SSP with a triangular function which accounts for the table movement and maintains a constant area under the curves.
