Summary

Description
English: Berliner Pfannkuchen (or Berliners for short), a popular German deep fried pastry made from sweet yeast dough. These specimens are sprinkled with granulated sugar and filled with plum jam, but other toppings and fillings are common too. The Berliners in this picture were made by a Hamburg bakery.
