If an English word has a silent letter, that letter does not count. Think about the sound, not the English spelling when doing this exercise.

- ذ is used to write the "dh" sound such as the "th" in "this", "there", and "bathe"
- ث is used to write "th"-"think, bath"
- ر is used to write the "r" sound, the Arabic sound is different though (it is a "rolled r" sound).
- ز is used to write the "z" sound-"zebra, zoo,oz"
- ف is used to write "f"-"fate"
- ب is used to write "b"-"break,cab"
