Wecome![edit source]

I put some ideas about how to use the paper at your request for a good location at Wikibooks staff lounge. Maybe we can get an initial standard tree in the namespace proposed/specified/requested by our hosting Wikibookean community while we wait for our own URL root so we can devise our own better specialized local tailoring. If they (WikiXXXeans, Board, etc.) give you any useful information regarding this please put a pointer on my talk page. Some other Wikiversity people do not really care how we get started as long as we have freedom to evolve improvements sooner or later. Lazyquasar 11:51, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Policy[edit source]

Thanks for the head's up. I was actually in the middle of reading and commenting on your suggestions in staff lounge when you left me the message. I'll finish my comments! --Whiteknight(talk) (projects) 12:07, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Since you seem to be interested in policy as well, I would like to mention that we are doing some major discussions for the new "General Voting Rules" policy proposal, and you are certainly welcome to read through the proposed policy, and to give some feedback. Once we get an official voting policy in place (can you believe we've gone all this time without one?), we will have a solid foundation for preparing other policies. --Whiteknight(talk) (projects) 14:41, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Writing lessons[edit source]

Hello,

thanks for the nice feedback on my "Bite-sized language lessons" proposal. I'm presently working on writing lessons that follow the same principle of step-by-step learning rather than trying to cramp everything into the student's head at once. You can see sample lessons for the Modern Greek script. I believe this approach would also work out well for Thai and take away a major stumbling block for people interested in learning Thai but afraid of learning a new alphabet. If you'd like to try it, make a page similar to Modern Greek/Writing lessons plan listing as many suitable words and names as you can think of and their transliteration and inform me. I'll gladly help you by finding a good order to introduce letters and starting to write the lessons. Deal?
