Hi Regan, My name is Holly and first I would just like to say what an adorable little puppy you have! What kind is it? I have a little Pomeranian, and she is a little poof-ball too! I can somewhat relate to your story, because I started out wanting to teach and then changed my mind and majored in Graphic Design. I have just finished all of the classes and can graduate with a BFA, however now I've decided I still want to teach! I am working towards a teaching certification so I can teach art, and hope to graduate in the spring.

I am new at thinking about teaching philosophies as well, however, I agree with your statement that all children are teachable. Excluding a student in the classroom, because they may have difficulties, is a terrible thing to think about! I recently was able to observe a special ed class in the art classroom. It was one of the most enjoyable experience I have had recently! To see the children's faces light up while making an art project was exciting. They were learning how fun it is to create something through art. :-)

I was browsing through the pages when I had to stop at yours because of the adorable puppy. That is one of the cutest dogs ever!!! You will have to let me know what kind of dog it is. It is awsome how you love so many water activites. I do as well. I plan on moving to a beach area in the near future. It is a great atmosphere. I have always wnated to try surfing. I do not know how good I would be at it. I may just stick with the boogie board :):)

I enjoyed reading your teaching philosophy. I would totally agree with you that the teacher needs to have compassion and love for their job. I have comes across so many teachers/educators who seem to be so cold hearted and not even want to help the children. I want to stop and ask them "Do you even like children or people in general." It is shocking to me sometimes the attitude people have. I would also agree with you that every child can learn. It still amazes me that an educator or anyone else would ever question that.Sston008 (talk) 13:55, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Regan[edit source]

Cute dog! What kind is it? Jamie and I (and Whiteknight [that's right, the administrator]) have a guess... Awesome!
