Hello rcrow! I love the idea of interactive notebooks and hope to use something similar in my classroom as well. As a mother, I also agree on the importance of eating dinner together at the table. It allows for open communication and some wild conversation topics as the kids get older. Best of luck in your licensure. Aburk017 (talk) 01:07, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there rcrow008! First off your daughter is absolutely adorable. My daughter will also be turning 3 this year in May...they keep you on your toes don't they? I can see where the desire to teach her age group comes from, two is such a fun age! They say the most unpredictable things and make you laugh from deep happy place. I also wish for my future art students to maintain a sketch journal to sketch ideas for projects and really anything that inspires them. I liked the part in your teaching philosophy that mentioned not letting them get away with any "bad behavior", that is definitely the mommy coming out in you. If you let them get away with it once they will do it again. And as an Art Education major I also plan on creating eye catching hall displays and holding student art shows. Displaying their work does make them feel like their work is important and is a great way of nurturing their self-esteem. I enjoyed you user page very much. Hey young lady,

I found it fascinating that you worked for a non-profit entity that benefits sick children.

Living in Reedville is undoubtedly a blast. I bet it is almost as good as living in my town, Warsaw.

I wish you well as you forge ahead in your education/teaching career.

We Northern Neck people have to stick together!

Sincerely,
