Also, your permission error should go away after you've had an account for a few days, I think they put that in there so that spambots don't just create a billion accounts and upload random stuff. If it doesn't work after a week or so let me or someone else (at the reading room) know. The reading room is generally a better place to ask that sort of thing than an article talk page since a lot of people watch that on a regular basis.
