Beginner warning: Details follow which you may not wish to read at your current level.

Goblet of Fire[edit | edit source]

When Lord Voldemort summons his Death Eaters after returning to life, he addresses one of them as Goyle. When Voldemort asks Goyle to do better next time, Goyle promises he will.

When Harry later names Goyle as one of the Death Eaters present in the graveyard, Cornelius Fudge dismisses that, saying he had already been tried and released, and Harry could have gotten his name from the old news stories.

Order of the Phoenix[edit | edit source]

Goyle was mentioned indirectly as one of the Death Eaters that Harry named in his interview with Rita Skeeter, later published in the Quibbler.

Strengths[edit | edit source]

Weaknesses[edit | edit source]

Much like his son, Goyle doesn't seem to be very bright.
