Description
English: Arctic sea-ice concentration in September 1979 and September 2010 (top) and the timeseries of monthly mean sea-ice extent from 1978 through 2010. Source of data is the National Snow & Ice Data Center, and the data used is the daily passive microwave ice concentrations from a collection of satellites; data was placed on 1-degree grid and averaged to monthly timescale.
