Summary

Description
English: This drawing is part of a small series of images that demonstrate how to measure the dimensions of a room. Image 1ː Most rooms are not perfectly rectangular. Image 2ː Use a level to figure out if the floor is flat. Image 3ː Use a plumb bob to figure out if the ceiling corners lie exactly above the floor corners (use that opportunity to measure the ceiling height). Image 4ː Measure the large dimensions first. Image 5ː Then measure the dimensions of details, always starting from the same base line.
