Summary

Description
English: These devices (laptop, hard disks, and memory sticks) might have malware in them (whether in the conventional data storage or their firmware). By adopting the measures in the instructions contained on the labelling of these devices, it is thought they can still be safely used. The labels act as 'security reminders', reminding users about how to use the devices safely. It is believed that the use of secret encryption is likely generally important when using untrusted data storage devices. In respect of untrusted computers, removing and blocking connectivity to other entities (such as through the internet), appears to be important in respect of safely using them.
