English: Trainz TS12-SP1 error message: "Error: The tag 'info-page' in 'map' points to a nonexistent file: 'filename.htm'". See Content Manager which generates these images.
  • Image shows the error 'Task Complete' popup messagebox, and is something of a catch22. Because it gives an error. the layout can not be loaded. Unless one loads the route, one cannot generate a reasonable thumbnail image to include in the configuration file.

- This error occurs because a Route/Layout from an older previous Trainz release was imported into an newer release which requires thumbnail images for all assets. (The same newer version automatically generates an automatic image.)

- The fix is to generate and attach a temporary/dummy thumbnail image. Install that into the configuration file, open the route and make a real thumb, and then re-edit and install the correct thumbnail.
