Summary

Description
English: Closeup of the interior of a "plasma globe" consisting of an electrode inside a partially evacuated glass globe, to which a high frequency AC voltage from a Tesla coil circuit is applied. The high frequency currents cause plasma streamers which extend to the glass surface. The name of this image is misleading, it is not an electrostatic generator.
