Description
English: Banga Soup is a type of soup originally from the people of Delta, Nigeria. It is made from the palm fruit which is called Banga. If you want to cook this soup, you will:
  • First, boils the palm fruit with water for at least 20 minutes.
  • When you are done with boiling, you then remove it from the water and pound it till it start bring out it's juice and as you pound make sure the kernel do not break.
  • Once you are done pounding, put water enough water into where you pounded it and sieve it so there will not be shaft in it.
  • Once you are done with that, you put the liquid into a pot to boil to thicken and put your flavour. After a while, you can put the protein you see fit into it. Then voila, you are done.
