[edit | edit source]genus omne (Latin) all that kind.[1] The usual form of this phrase is: et hoc genus omne (and all this sort of thing). The narrator (Bloom?) is using the Latin phrase as a simple substantive, as though it were a synonym for ilk. This unusual practice is typical of his affected style in this episode.
