Starting with the teaching notes for the graduate class in Rutgers University Chemistry Department, which initially had the following vision
"This class was designed to enhance our current core physical chemistry curriculum with key fundamentals in physics and mathematics pertaining to "Chemical Dynamics", broadly defined. This is an exciting opportunity for students of physical chemistry to develop and apply foundation skills in classical mechanics and electrostatics, variational principles and solutions to partial differential equations. These skills will help to achieve a higher level of connection with quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics, and physical chemistry in general.",
The authors intended to create an ebook-like resource that can benefit graduate-level P-Chem students, as well as any researchers dealing with topics related to (bio)chemical dynamics, modeling, and simulation.
