- Tofu
- Spices (e.g. shoarma, gyros, powder from the general store, you name it)
- Onion, chopped
- Garlic, minced
- Fresh herbs (e.g. coriander, etc.)
- Raw vegetables (e.g. lettuce, etc.)
- Chili sauce
Procedure[edit | edit source]
- Combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and soymilk to make a batter.
- Fry the batter in a greased skillet over medium heat to make pancakes. Reserve pancakes.
- Mash the tofu with a fork, and mix in the spices.
- Fry the onion and garlic in a skillet with a dash of oil. Add the tofu, and fry until it has a granular texture.
- Put a pancake on a dish, and top with the cooked tofu and some of the vegetables/herbs. Drizzle some chili sauce over the top, and serve.
