Peter Demetz (born Petr Demetz in Prague, Czechoslovakia; October 21, 1922)[1] is an American scholar of German literature and a Sterling Professor emeritus at Yale University, and also a published author. He was formerly the Craig Distinguished Visiting Professor at Rutgers University.[2][3][4][5]

Demetz turned 100 in October 2022.[6][7]
