Hi Sandra!

I really enjoyed reading your About Me section! I know what you mean about the "light bulb".. I recently got a job working in a preschool and decided that I wanted to pursue my Masters PreK-6. By the way, there is nothing wrong with being an "older" student.. you're right, you probably have more experience and are better prepared! :) I also agree about your philosophy of being an "active" teacher. I think that when learning is fun and interesting, students will learn more. Diversity is very important, but teachers should also be prepared to assess individual strengths and weaknesses so that all students have the opportunity to be successful!
