Välkommen! Här är Bybrunnen, samlingsplatsen för svenskspråkiga Wikibooks. Ingen fråga som på något sätt rör just det vi gör eller vill göra här är för liten eller för stor för att ställas här. Dubiösa böcker

Hur skall man förhålla sig till böcker med dubiöst innehåll, som kunde vara lämpliga om verkligheten såg annorlunda ut? Jag blankade en användarsida som såg ut som början till en bok. Här är det klart att det är innehåll jag inte vill se hos oss, men det argumentet bär ju inte särskilt långt. en:Wikibooks:What is Wikibooks? summerar väl vad jag trott redan gällde även här: Fakta- och läroböcker, men inte propaganda, reklam eller eget tyckande. Sidan som du nämner verkar ju mest eget tyckande och hade dessutom en typisk spamlänk i texten så den kan nog också raderas av den orsaken.

Astrologi i sig ligger väl möjligen i en gråzon. Att ställa upp ett horoskop rent tekniskt kanske skulle fungera som lärobok men kanske inte tolkningen av horoskopet. Det finns dock en på franska Wikibooks i alla fall: fr:Astrologie.--Thurs (diskussion) 29 mars 2018 kl. 00.20 (CEST)

Interface-admin

Möjligheten för administratörer att redigera CSS och javascript för andra användare kommer att tas bort och ersättas av behörigheten "interface-admin" (se Wikibooks:Rundskrivelser#New user group for editing sitewide CSS / JS). Det gäller i första hand Common.js och Common.css, som kan missbrukas. Jag antar att vi inte behöver någon lokalt som kan redigera dessa filer. Utvalda böcker

Hur har de utvalda böckerna nominerats och valts? Ska de märkas upp som utmärkt / bra / rekommenderad i Wikidata? Om märks upp kommer de få en guldstjärna (utmärkt), silverstjärna (bra) eller grön stjärna (rekommenderad) bredvid språklänken i den andra språkversionerna av Wikibooks. /Autom (diskussion) 25 mars 2019 kl. 17.33 (CET)

Det är nog bara utvalt av den som lagt in det i mallen. I avsaknad av en fungerande gemenskap är det knappast meningsfullt med någon uppmärkning på Wikidata.--Thurs (diskussion) 27 mars 2019 kl. 12.42 (CET)

Multilingual Shared Templates and Modules

Hello sv-wiki community! (Hjälp till att översätta till ditt språk)

I recently organized a project to share templates and modules between wiki projects and languages. It allows modules and templates to be “language-neutral”, and store all text translations on Commons. This means that it is enough to copy/paste a template without any changes, and update the translations separately. If someone fixes a bug or adds a new feature in the original module, you can copy/paste it again without any translation work. My bot DiBabelYurikBot can help with copying. This way users can spend more time on content, and less time on updating and copying templates. Please see project page for details and ask questions on talk page.

P.S. I am currently running for the Wikimedia board, focusing on content and support of multi-language communities. Community Wishlist 2020

The 2020 Community Wishlist Survey is now open! This survey is the process where communities decide what the Community Tech team should work on over the next year. We encourage everyone to submit proposals until the deadline on November 11, 2019, or comment on other proposals to help make them better.

This year, we’re exclusively focusing on smaller projects (i.e., Wikibooks, Wiktionary, Wikiquote, Wikisource, Wikiversity, Wikispecies, Wikivoyage, and Wikinews). We want to help these projects and provide meaningful improvements to diverse communities. If you’re a member of any of these projects, please participate in the survey! To submit proposals, see the guidelines on the survey page. You can write proposals in any language, and we will translate them for you. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your proposals!

Wiki Loves Folklore

Hello Folks,

Wiki Loves Love is back again in 2020 iteration as Wiki Loves Folklore from 1 February, 2020 - 29 February, 2020. Join us to celebrate the local cultural heritage of your region with the theme of folklore in the international photography contest at Wikimedia Commons. Images, videos and audios representing different forms of folk cultures and new forms of heritage that haven’t otherwise been documented so far are welcome submissions in Wiki Loves Folklore. "Mall" universum (Q1) fungerar inte

Finns det några planer att lägga till mallen {{Q|Q1}}. Om det går bra för er andra går det bra om jag provar/försöker att lägga in mallen(jag vet dock inte hur man gör men jag kan försöka ta reda på det)? Datariumrex (diskussion) 11 mars 2020 kl. 12.09 (CET)

Jag antar att ingen har något emot mallen (för Wikidat-koder, se mallen på Wikipedia), i synnerhet om någon aktivt behöver den. Kopiera in koden från sw-wp till mallsidan (rödlänkad i avsnittsrubriken). Skriv en hänvisning i redigeringssammanfattningen. Koden borde fungera lika bra här. Kategorin skall ändras till någon som finns här, kanske Kategori:Interwikimallar. Om det inte lyckas rakt av kan jag försöka hjälpa eller hitta någon som kan göra det. --LPfi (diskussion) 11 mars 2020 kl. 15.26 (CET)

Tack. Jag lyckades få mallen att fungera efter att jag kopierade vissa mallar och moduler över här. Det finns vissa felmeddelanden på vissa av de mallarna jag kopierade över. Tycker du det är nödvändigt att jag kopierar även de mallar/moduler som är relaterade till koden som får {{Q|Q1}} att fungera? Jag är bara glad att mallen fungerar som den ska nu och tack för att du brydde dig. Det hjälpte(på ett motiverande sätt) mig att kopiera över mallen idag. Det arbete jag gjort med mallar har varit enkelt och jag har inte använt moduler, så jag kan inte bedöma hur det är bäst att göra. Utan att sätta mig in i problematiken skulle jag säga att det är bättre att inte dra in för mycket material, utan hellre nöja sig med en enklare version om den fungerar för det man behöver den till – om det inte leder till att andra problem växer. Inactive sysop/crat

Hi all, as per the local policy, sysop rights shall be removed if a user is inactive for a year. The last edit of Averater was made on 25 January 2017 and the last logged edit was made on 22 May 2016. I propose the removal of his/her sysop and crat rights. Wikimedia Sverige – digitalt årsmöte

Hej alla!

Som en del av er vet kommer Wikimedia Sverige i år, på grund av den covid-19, att ha ett digitalt årsmöte. Årsmötet kommer att äga rum nu på lördag, via konferenstjänsten Zoom. Alla medlemmar är välkomna att närvara, och information om hur och var man gör det finns här. Föredragningslista och alla handlingar finns såklart som vanligt på årsmötessidan på föreningens wiki. Proposal: Set two-letter project shortcuts as alias to project namespace globally

Hello everyone,

I apologize for posting in English. I would like to inform everyone that I created a new global request for comment (GRFC) at Meta Wiki, which may affect your project: m:Requests for comment/Set short project namespace aliases by default globally.

In this GRFC, I propose that two-project shortcuts for project names will become a default alias for the project namespace. For instance, on all Wikipedias, WP will be an alias to the Wikipedia: namespace (and similar for other projects). Full list is available in the GRFC.

This is already the case for Wikivoyages, and many individual projects asked for this alias to be implemented. I believe this makes it easier to access the materials in the project namespace, as well as creating shortcuts like WP:NPOV, as well as helps new projects to use this feature, without having to figure out how to request site configuration changes first.

As far as I can see, Wikibooks currently does not have such an alias set. This means that such an alias will be set for you, if the GRFC is accepted by the global community.

I would like to ask all community members to participate in the request for comment at Meta-Wiki, see m:Requests for comment/Set short project namespace aliases by default globally.

Universal Code of Conduct - Enforcement draft guidelines review

Hello all,
The Universal Code of Conduct Phase 2 drafting committee would like comments about the enforcement draft guidelines for the Universal Code of Conduct (UCoC). This review period is planned to begin 17 August 2021.

Community and staff members collaborated to develop these draft guidelines based on consultations, discussions, and research. These guidelines are not final but you can help move the progress forward. Provide comments about these guidelines by 17 October 2021. The committee will be revising the guidelines based upon community input.

Everyone may share comments in a number of places. Facilitators welcome comments in any language on the draft review talk page or by email. Comments can also be shared on talk pages of translations, at local discussions, or during round-table discussions and conversation hours.

There are planned live discussions about the UCoC enforcement draft guidelines:

• Wikimania 2021 session - 16 August @ 11:00 UTC - 11:45 UTC (recording of the session)
• Conversation hours - 24 August, 31 August, 7 September @ 03:00 UTC & 14:00 UTC
• Roundtable calls - 18 September @ 03:00 UTC & 15:00 UTC

The facilitation team supporting this review period hopes to reach a large number of communities. Having a shared understanding is important. If you do not see a conversation happening in your community, please organize a discussion. Facilitators can assist you in setting up the conversations.

Discussions will be summarized and presented to the drafting committee every two weeks. The summaries will be published here.
