Social Science Research
Appearance
This book analyzes several scientific articles in the social field, published in free form or under Creative Commons licenses on the Zenodo, PubMed, and arXiv platforms. These studies often contain related data, so in addition to the summary of the article's content, a statistical analysis of the data provided in the R or Python programming languages will be added to confirm the findings or add new ones.
- PubMed Central (PMC) ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc ) – PubMed is a free search engine operated by the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM). It specializes in biomedical and life sciences research articles. It contains millions of scientific articles from academic journals and databases such as MEDLINE and PubMed Central (PMC). It is used by physicians, researchers, and students to find studies in medicine, biology, and public health.
- Zenodo ( https://zenodo.org ) – Zenodo is an open-access repository developed by CERN and supported by the European Commission to archive and share scientific data and publications. It hosts scientific articles, datasets, software, presentations, and research reports. It covers all disciplines (social sciences, physics, biology, computer science, etc.). All content on Zenodo is freely accessible and downloadable. Researchers and institutions use it to share their work without restrictions.
