The Zhu Jiang River is the general name of the branches of Xi Jiang, Bei Jiang, Dong Jiang, etc. Its length is 2,400km, the third longest river after Chang Jiang and Huang He in China. Its average flow volume is 9,500m3/s, the second largest flow volume after Chang Jiang. The Zhu Jiang Basin has an area of 453,700km2, mainly flows through south China, and through Guangdong Province into South China Sea.
