At the Dock behind the warehouse, there should be a kid who challenges you to find him in a game of hide and seek. You have to find him five times (of which the first four are in the Cyber World) in order to win an AntiDamage *. The five places are:

  1. ACDC Area 3, near the entrance to FurnaceComp, as a Mr. Prog
  2. SculptureComp (the BattleChip sculpture at SciLabFront), as an official Navi
  3. DrillComp 3, as a HeelNavi
  4. FurnaceComp, as a purple girl Navi
  5. OldMine3, next to the pile of rocks with a Mettaur hat

Challenging Navis[edit | edit source]

After beating navis, more powerful versions of these navis can be fought. After the standard navi is beaten, you can then fight the alpha version, followed by the beta and omega versions. Beating the standard or alpha versions will give you the standard navi chip for that navi, while the beta versions will give the DS versions of the navi. Defeating the omega versions of the navis will give you their SP navi chip if you S-Rank them, and give you the normal or DS versions for lower busting levels.. GridManα and LarkManα can only be fought once, while the beta versions of all other navis can be fought once.

  • KnightMan/MagnetMan - After finishing Liberation Mission 2, the alpha version is available in Oran Area 1, near the entrance to Oran Area 2. The beta version is available at ACDC Area 1, in the first square following the entrance from Lan's HP. The omega version is available randomly in ACDC Area 1.
  • ShadowMan/GyroMan - After finishing Liberation Mission 3, the alpha version is available in SciLab2, near the entrance to SciLab3. The beta version is available in Oran Area 1, in a long lower level dead end. The omega version is available randomly in Oran Area 1.
  • TomahawkMan/NapalmMan - After finishing Liberation Mission 4, the alpha version is available in End Area 1, in a square off the first ramp. The beta version is available in SciLab4, in the top-left square. The omega version is available randomly in SciLab4.
  • NumberMan/SearchMan - After finishing Liberation Mission 5, the alpha version is available in End Area 4, near the entrance to End Area 5. The beta version is available in End Area 3, off the first ramp going down. The omega version is available randomly in End Area 3.
  • ToadMan/Meddy - After finishing Liberation Mission 6, the alpha version is available in Undernet 3, near the entrance to Undernet 4. The beta version is available in End Area 4, in a right side dead-end. The omega version is available randomly in End Area 4.
  • Colonel/ProtoMan - After finishing Liberation Mission 5, the beta version is available in Undernet 3, in a square to the upper-right of the ProgramDealer (there is no alpha version). The omega version is available randomly in Undernet 3.
  • BlizzardMan - After beating BlizzardManα in FactoryComp1, the beta version is available in ACDC Area 3, in the left dead-end near the entrance to ACDC Area 2. The omega version is available randomly in ACDC Area 3.
  • ShadeMan - After beating ShadeManα in FactoryComp2, the beta version is available in Oran Area 3, in a left dead-end. The omega version is available in Oran Area 3.
  • CloudMan - After beating CloudManα in FactoryComp3, the beta version is available in SciLab 3, in a square on the right. The omega version is available in SciLab3.
  • CosmoMan - After beating CosmoManα in FactoryComp4, the beta version is available in Undernet 4, near the back wall. The omega version is available in Undernet4.
  • GridMan - Upon finishing Liberation Mission 2, GridMan is available at the OldMine, near the entrance to OldMine7, by talking to Mr. Famous. The alpha and beta versions are located in the same place. The omega version is randomly encountered in Oran Area 2. GridManα is available after Liberation Mission 3, and GridManβ after Liberation Mission 6.
  • LarkMan - Upon finishing Liberation Mission 4, LarkMan is available in Undernet 1 (via the entrance from End Area 2). The alpha and beta versions are located in the same place, while the omega version is randomly encountered in Undernet 2. LarkManα is available after Liberation Mission 5, and LarkManβ after Liberation Mission 6.

The omega versions of your teammates must be S-Ranked before the doors in Nebula Area 6 are unlocked. The attack rating of your SP navi chips is based on how quickly you defeat them. For the record, here are their attack powers:

The 5 Guardians[edit | edit source]

After Liberation Mission 6 is completed, five black HeelNavis will appear throughout the net. If you defeat all five, then a door in Nebula Area 4 will be unlocked. The five are at:

  • ServerComp (enter from SciLab 4)
  • CraneComp (enter from Oran Area 2)
  • End Area 4, through the teleporter
  • Undernet 1, via End Area 1
  • Undernet 2, near the entrance to Undernet 3

Bass[edit | edit source]

After beating Nebula Gray, if you have the Bass-Cross MegaMan, you will be able to face Bass in Oran Area 3, in a square near the entrance to SciLab1. Bass is considerably easier than its Chaos Lord counterpart, as it only begins with 1500 HP and doesn't use the ground or aerial Darkness Overload. To get Bass-Cross MegaMan in the GBA versions, an e-Card is needed. For Double Team DS, you must get the Bass icon in a GBA version, then insert the GBA version into your DS.

(MegaMan will run into the square)

MegaMan: Yikes!!!

(MegaMan will turn around, then go into his battle stance)

Lan: What is it, MegaMan!
MegaMan: It's coming...
Lan: What's coming?
Bass: I feel its power... It's the same as me...

(the area will rumble)

Lan: What?!
MegaMan: Lan, get ready for some action!
Lan: I'm on it!!!
MegaMan: Here it comes!!!

(the rumbling stops, and a vortex appears in front of MegaMan)

Bass: I sense your power...
MegaMan: ...!!!

(Bass appears from the vortex)

MegaMan: B-B-Bass!!!
Bass: The power pulses I sense in you... They are of the same type as mine... ...How interesting. Let's battle. I'm gonna find out if that power of yours is fake or if it's the real thing...
MegaMan: Here he comes, Lan!
Lan: Such terrible power... Can we even win? We've got no choice! Battle routine, set!
MegaMan: Execute!!!
Bass: Ready or not...

(fight and win agisnt Bass. Afterwards, Bass will appear injured before MegaMan)

Bass: That power... It is the real thing... Interesting... If you can retain that power... ...Then perhaps we shall meet again someday...

(Bass retreats into the vortex, which then closes)

MegaMan: He's gone...
Lan: That was too close...
MegaMan: Yeah... We somehow won this time but the next...
Lan: Have a little more confidence, will ya?! I'm sure we'll be even stronger next time!
MegaMan: Right!

Head to Nebula Area 4, and near the entrance to Nebuka Area 5 there should be a path obscured by the upper-level purple path. Go to the square there and there will be another cutscene, where you will face Bassα. Bassα has 2000 HP, and will also use the ground version of the Darkness Overload.

MegaMan: Nothing here.
Lan: Let's go back then...
Bass: I don't think so...

(MegaMan gets into battle stance)

MegaMan: Who's there?!

(The area rumbles)

MegaMan: What's this feeling?

(The rumble stops and a vortex appears in front of MegaMan)

MegaMan: It can't be!!!

(Bass appears from the vortex)

Bass: Well done so far... But this time it shall be different...
MegaMan: He's much stronger than before!!!
Bass: ...Brace yourself.
MegaMan: Lan!!!
Lan: OK! We're stronger than before, too! Let's show him what we can do!!! Battle routine, set!
MegaMan: Execute!!!
Bass: This shall be fun!

(fight and win against Bassα. Afterwards, Bass will appear injured before MegaMan.)

Bass: I never imagined you could beat me after my power increased... But as long as I am in this area, I'll absorb DarkPower and regenerate over and over again... And each time I shall gain more and more power...
MegaMan: ......

(Bass retreats through the vortex, which disappears)

Bass: ...Do not forget. I shall return over and over again. I shall delete you yet...
MegaMan: That Bass was one scary opponent.
Lan: Yeah... Hey, aren't your current custom settings based on Bass's power?
MegaMan: ...Yeah.
Lan: I'm worried that your soul will be taken by darkness, just like Bass.
MegaMan: Don't worry. I'm not gonna give in to the DarkPower. After all, I have you here with me, Lan!
Lan: MegaMan... You're right! We can get stronger without the DarkPower. We can do it, as long as we're together!
MegaMan: Of course we can!
Lan: Then let's go strike down darkness!
MegaMan: Roger!

If you have previously beaten Chaos Lord Bass, then you will encounter BassXX (which has 4000 HP) instead of BassSΩ. Beating either version will give you the Bass icon.
