Kazakh is a Turkic language from the Central Asian country of Kazakhstan, closely related to Turkish, Uzbek, and Tatar. It is spoken by about 12 million people in Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, and Iran.
