A new Intellivision system was announced in 2018.[1] The Intellivision Amico was scheduled for a October 2020 release with a launch price of $250, but the launch was delayed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[2][3]

The Intellivision Amico has an unspecified Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 core CPU clocked at 1.8Ghz.[4][5]

The Amico has 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of Flash Memory.[4]

The Intellivision Amico runs a hybrid of Android and Linux.[6]

Most Amico games are made with the Unity game engine.[6]

The Amico contains a few games bundled, and has a digital marketplace.[7] Most games for the Amico are designed for couch co-op and all games for the Amico are rated E or E10.[8]
