Deutsch: Zürich : Die Limmat von der Quaibrücke aus unmittelbar unterhalb des Ausflusses aus dem Zürichsee. In der Bildmitte das Grossmünster mit seinen zwei Türmen. Links daneben im Fluss das Helmhaus und die Wasserkirche mit kleinem Türmchen. Am linken Bildrand das Bauschänzli, eine rekonstruierte alte Stadtbefestigung im Fluss.
English: Zürich (Switzerland) : The very first meters of Limmat river flowing out of lake Zurich. In the middle of the picture is Grossmünster with its two towers, just on the left of it is Helmhaus and Wasserkirche with a very small tower. On the left edge of the picture Bauschänzli, reconstructed part of an old fortress in the river. Picture taken from Quay Bridge.
