Summary

Description Diagram showing how to estimate the height of an object using a folded sheet of paper. Fold a 45° angle in the paper and sight along the bottom of the paper (line A) to the bottom of the object, and along the hypotenuse (line B) to the top of the object. The height of the object will equal the distance to it.
