Description
English: Schematic showing how to catch rainwater from hillsides. The schematic shows a regular used regular filter in place to remove the water from large impurities/sediment. Aldough here, a regular/simple filter is used, filters with large rocks, followed by small rocks, gravel and then again large rocks stacked to a dam may also be used. The schematic is hand-drawn based on a picture from the book "Earthship Volume 2:Systems and components" by Michael Reynolds
