An artery is a blood vessel that transports blood from the heart to other parts of the body. Almost all arteries carry blood that contains a lot of oxygen. The arteries that do not carry oxygen-rich blood have only the pulmonary artery and the umbilical artery.

动脉是将血液从心脏输送到身体其他部位的血管。几乎所有动脉都携带含有大量氧气的血液。不携带富氧血液的动脉只有肺动脉和脐动脉。
