Spicy chickpeas make a good fall-back meal using ingredients that many pantries will often have lying in a dusty corner, but which are also cheap to pick up.

Procedure[edit | edit source]
- Strain chickpeas and dry with a towel.
- Heat oil in large skillet. Add chickpeas, and sauté until slightly colored, about 6 minutes.
- Add Dijon mustard and stir.
- Season with pepper and salt to taste.
