Ova Sfongia Ex Lacte is an Ancient Roman recipe that is similar to a pancake.

  • 8 eggs
  • 5 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups flour (preferably whole wheat for authenticity)
  • honey
  • dash ground pepper

  1. Beat together eggs, milk, oil, salt, and flour until you have a runny pancake dough. Add more flour if necessary.
  2. Cook on a hot skillet and serve topped with honey and a little pepper (if you want to).
  3. Enjoy!
