Mushroom pepper soup is a dish mostly consumed by the Igbo people of southeastern Nigeria. It can be served with any type of swallow.

Procedure[edit | edit source]

  1. Heat some water in a pot. Add the potato, fresh pepper, onions, maggi, uziza, and ehuru. Bring to a simmer, and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the mushrooms, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the ncha anwu, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat, and serve with any swallow.
