Karak chai is a type of chai tea popular in Southwest and South Asia. This recipe originates from the Youtube channel MATBAKH UK.[1]

- 7 cardamom pods
- 2 black tea bags or 2 teaspoons (10 ml) black tea
- 2½ tbsp (37.5 ml) sweetened condensed milk or cream of coconut
Procedure
[edit | edit source]- Combine the milk, cardamom, and tea in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the condensed milk.
- Strain the mixture, discarding the solids.
