Karak chai is a type of chai tea popular in Southwest and South Asia. This recipe originates from Unilever Food Solutions Arabia.[1]
Recipes

- 4 cardamom pods
- 4 cloves
- ½ in (1.25 cm) thick ginger slice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 black tea bags or 2 tsp (10 ml) black tea
- ½ cup (120 ml) milk or dairy-free milk
- 2 tsp (10 ml) white sugar
Procedure
[edit | edit source]- Boil the water in a saucepan.
- Add the cardamom, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, and tea. Remove from the heat, and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Mix in the milk and sugar.
- Strain the mixture.
