- 1 lb dried assorted fruit
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 lb flour
- 6 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups tea
- 2 tbsp jam
- 1 tbsp mixed spices
- Soak the fruit in the tea for 24 hours
- Mix flour, sugar, egg, spice, fruit, and marmalade in bowl. Spoon into a loaf tin and cook for 45 minutes at 325F.
- Let cool, remove from tin, then glaze with honey.
