About the Author, Reader Response- I agree that college is not for everyone, there are a lot of accomplished people who have achieved their success without the first college class but through hands on experience. I really liked your description of a good teacher. It is to me right on target about the teacher being aware of the differences in students as well as being fair to all students. Also that the teacher should feel success when the students are successful, thats what is being in charge in the classroom is all about.Wwieg001 (talk) 19:17, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Morgan,

It's always interesting hearing another art teachers philosophy on what makes a good teacher. It seems like most art teachers have a common interest of hands on learning and believing in each child.i agree with the fact that we should set the goals of education high for our students, but you are also right that it's not for everyone. There are many other ways to further one's education besides staying in a school. I've observed in an elementary school and a middle school both were interesting and great learning experiences but i think high school is more up my alley. and yes i play the bass it keeps me sain on rough days.Pbald005 (talk) 03:10, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
