Pumapard in a photo taken in 1904

A pumapard is a hybrid of a female puma and a male leopard or a female leopard and a male puma. Both of these pairings have been known to have babies. In general, these hybrids have a short stature and are smaller than their parents.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Pumapards tend to be smaller than their parents. The ones who were reported grew to only half the size of their parents. They have a Puma-like long body and they also have short legs. Their coat is described as yellowish brown or greyish with brown imitations of forms of roses.
