[edit] Editing sections of the Community Portal

I removed "__NOEDITSECTION__" from the Community Portal. I saw no reason for it, and it prevents one from editing one section; for example to add one link. --Kernigh 20:10, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

There's too much links now in the Portal. Pages should be simple - with lots of section edit links it does not look nice. --Derbeth talk 12:31, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

The four == boxes == should have section edit links, though. Maybe the === smaller sections === should become '''<big>smaller sections</big>'''? --Kernigh 21:28, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

The main purpose of Community Portal is to be viewed, not edited. It aleady has a ton of links, adding more would just create more mess. I think lack of section edit links is just a small inconvenience. BTW, how often do you edit CP? Not so often I think. You're experienced user, I don't think you have big problem because of lack of edit links. --Derbeth talk 21:53, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Let's get going

I'd really like to start this up again. Its a great idea and should ideally be an active central point of collaboration among editors. If we could a bot to update the template, that'd be great! I'm not sure how to step forward, but let's just take it one step at a time. --Iamunknown 05:42, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Add fr:

The page seems protected, so I note it here: the French page is fr:Wikilivres:Accueil. Could someone add the link, please ?
