[edit] Categorization of bookshelves

In my opinion, it's important that every page is categorized, and this includes bookshelves. I propose to put every bookshelve inside the category "Wikibooks bookshelves", as well as inside its specific category as the main entry (changing the sortkey to the value " *Name of the page"). For example, Information technology bookshelf will be inside category Category:Wikibooks bookshelves and Category:Information Technology. I think that Wikibooks:All bookshelves should be only inside the Category:Wikibooks bookshelves, but as the main entry. --surueña 18:23, September 8, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Wikibooks:Bookshelf requests

The page did not exist before, but I created it and boot a request there. My request concerns the six computer-related bookshelves and a slight change in policy. See Wikibooks:Bookshelf requests for details. --Kernigh 01:47, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Embedded Systems

Embedded Systems: Theory, Design and Implementation has been merged into Embedded Systems. --Whiteknight TCE 16:33, 11 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Obsolete?

Is this obsolete (or heading in that direction) now that we're starting to implement the Subject: namespace? We're getting to the point where the bookshelves are (in practice) being superseded by the Subject: pages, I think. Should we therefore start thinking about making this obsolete and/or making a new policy/guideline/useful page regarding that new system?  – Mike.lifeguard | talk 02:13, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
