Usage

Use the Welcome and Bigwelcome templates for brand new users. The Welcomeback template is useful for users who have been dormant for an extended period of time and have expressed renewed interest by limited recent activity. Be sure to check the contributions history of such returning users. If they have extensive experience, the templated links may be uneccessary and might be taken to imply that the returning user lacks sophistication or experience. Returning users with extensive experience might be more appropriately greeted with a custom message which does not provide them with information which they may not require.
