[edit] Administrator access

| Closed per Panic. Your desire to help is appreciated, but you can best do so without the administrator tools at this time. Beyond contributing content, there are plenty of other tasks you can help with if you like. Wikibooks:Maintenance lists some of those tasks, and you can always find others requesting assistance at WB:HELP. Best wishes and thanks for joining. — Mike.lifeguard | talk 14:58, 2 September 2008 (UTC) | |

[edit] Timothypratley ( talk | email | contribs | logs)
I would like to become an editor for Clojure_Programming in order to 'sight' updates and make them default. Timothypratley (talk) 02:13, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- Though we're glad to see you have contributed, administrators have generally been involved with the project for a while and have become involved with something besides their own modules (e.g. get to know the deletion policies, answer questions in the reading room pages, and so on). See this page for details. For another, admin rights are not necessary to become an editor, it has its own category. For that, as well, I think you will need to have some more experiences here. [edit] Rollbacker or Patroller access
[edit] Ravichandar84 ( talk | email | contribs | logs) (Patroller)
This was a self-nom.
- I had wanted to wait and see a bit more work before making any comment. Since the request was made I've seen some good work, so I'm comfortable adding Ravichandar84 as a patroller. — Mike.lifeguard | talk 18:13, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
Support I've been watching Ravichandar84's work, and I have no reservations. We need more patrollers, and I think he's a good fit. --Jomegat (talk) 23:54, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
SupportWe are in need of patrollers, he appears to be qualified for the job.-Red4tribe (talk) 00:06, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
Done. --Az1568 (talk) 05:19, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for electing me as a patroller. I shall try my best to live up to the confidence you have expressed upon me.-RavichandarMy coffee shop
[edit] Techman224 ( talk | email | contribs | logs) (Rollback)
I request rollback. I've reverted some vandalism here, and I have rollback on en wikipedia, and simple wikipedia (prior experience) Techman224 (talk) 22:53, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- Has been doing good work on a few wikis, can be trusted to use it well here. — Mike.lifeguard | talk 03:43, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
Done. I agree with Mike. --Whiteknight (Page) (Talk) 20:38, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Editor access
[edit] Mcld ( talk | email | contribs | logs) (Editor)
- Hi - requested editor access, interested in using the Flaggedrevs feature. I created the (featured) Zine making book, have contributed to cookbook, and a couple of other things here and there. Cheers --Mcld (talk) 18:48, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
Done. Being editor isn't a big deal, and you obviously have a feel for what makes a page "good". --Whiteknight (Page) (Talk) 20:40, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Techman224 ( talk | email | contribs | logs) (Editor)
I request editor access too. I'm also interested in flaggedrevs too. I've been helping with the overall fixing of articles, reverting vandalism, and updating some book to reflect the latest version of their product. Techman224Talk 02:27, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, you have fewer than 50 edits. While I'm happy to have you reverting vandalism, I think it may require a bit more experience with Wikibooks to do this task well. Perhaps waiting until you get autopromoted will be best. — Mike.lifeguard | talk 02:42, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
There's a problem with that, Whiteknight accidently gave me editor rights when he was trying to give me rollback, so he removed editor rights, meaning that I won't be auto promoted. Techman224Talk 19:59, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, that's true. In that case, I'd suggest you wait, figure out what Wikibooks is about, what makes a good module etc, and then ask again. (Or maybe we can just leave this up until then) — Mike.lifeguard | talk 20:01, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
But should I been already auto promoted? I just want to be fair here. Techman224Talk 20:05, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- I think I should be promoted like anyone else, I should have meet the criteria by now according to the system. Techman224Talk 04:29, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Yes, done. Thanks for correcting me. — Mike.lifeguard | talk 17:39, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. Techman224Talk 17:45, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Suruena ( talk | email | contribs | logs) (Editor)
Hi again!, I'd also request editor access. I'm one of the main authors of the Ada Programming wikibook, and would like to use the Flaggedrevs feature. Cheers —surueña 18:51, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- I've been automatically promoted, thanks anyway. Cheers, —surueña 22:54, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi, I'd like to request editor access. I currently contribute mainly to The GIMP book, sometimes to other books about software. I hope I could get promoted. I would wait to get auto-promoted, but it's quiet hard for me to get ten edits in recent changes at once. At least that's what I think is wrote as required. Based on VVV's adminstats tool, which counts admin actions, not edit (so I may have missed someone inactive). — Mike.lifeguard | talk 21:41, 9 October 2008 (UTC) [edit] AlbertCahalan ( talk | email | contribs | logs)AlbertCahalan was elected 13 August 2005.
