Minor edits are edits to pages that do not alter the meaning of the text on the page, nor the amount of information presented on the page. Minor edits in this sense may or may not be marked as "minor" in the page history. A minor edit may take one or more of the following forms:

  • A fix in spelling or grammar.
  • A fix or small alteration in the use of markup (wiki markup, HTML, CSS) that does not alter the meaning of the current text.
  • The addition of a template tag to a page that consists entirely of meta content.
