[edit] Wiki Editing Basics
Anyone is allowed to edit Wiki pages. See Help:Contents for more.
Although it is not required to register (it's free) a user account and log in to edit Wiki pages, it is strongly recommended that you get an account. This will give you some additional benefits, such as talking with other registered users, watching if specified pages are modified, etc.
[edit] Locate a Problem
Use "problem categories" to locate a specific problem you're interested in. If the problem doesn't exist, you can create an appropriate problem category and then the problem itself. Ask your problem (by posting its WikiSci URL) on the newsgroup and put solutions back to the problem page.
[edit] How to Edit a Problem Page
A problem page is a Wiki page dedicated to a specific problem. Like a problem category page, it should first have an "overview" section which briefly describes the problem. Following the Overview is the "Approaches" section, which documents historical and current approaches to the problem. It is recommended to put reference information under each approach.
