Hi, welcome to wikibooks. I've noticed your additions to the Cookbook, and I'm thrilled to welcome another editor to our group. To ensure your recipes are known about by the the users as well as the editors of the book, be sure to add them to Cookbook:Recipes, which acts as our recipe index, and is where we pick featured recipes from.

Again, welcome, and happy editing. Gentgeen 22:35, 30 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Thanks, will do.

[edit] images

I saw you posted two pics of the same thing, just different sizes, and I thought I'd let you know that's not necessary. The wiki software can be told to render an image smaller that the file's resolution. For example, Oyster(L).jpg and Oyster(L).jpg are from the same file, Image:Oyster(L).jpg (which is quite large). The software can be told the size by doing this: [[Image:Oyster(L).jpg|50px|]]. More tricks about using images in wiki pages can be found in the MediaWiki Users guide article MediaWiki User's Guide: Adding multimedia, which is at Meta. Gentgeen 10:22, 26 May 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Naming

Hi - please note that the naming convention requires a "/" and not either a ":" or a "\" - thanks --Herby talk thyme 09:53, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
