ЗAНИA isn't very active on Wiki projects at the moment but I'll pop by occasionally to voice my opposition to something that the majority support or do a spot of RC patrolling.

Old messages are neither archived or binned. Instead they're left to rot on this page until someone decides to do it for me :) '

[edit] The whole desysopping thing

As you probably know, I agree with you on this for the most part (desysopping for inactivity is a bit silly for most intents and purposes). However, the community seems to feel it's important, and it's important for those who don't agree with the community to concede rather than complaining ad infinitum. If you believe in consensus (and yet harbor strong opinions here and there), you sometimes need to concede. --SB_Johnny | PA! 21:45, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

I reverted your edit yet again. You have been told by multiple administrators that your current editing location is inappropriate. Do we need to say this is an official warning so that you stop? I've told you a dozen times where you could actually voice your opinion and you have been informed for quite some time. Like Johnny said, do the correct thing if you care enough. -withinfocus 02:10, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
I've moved your objection to the proper location; the discussion will continue there. Mike.lifeguard | talk 02:16, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

You're talking about how there's not democracy with this when the policy is decided based on a vote. I guess you just don't understand how to go about possibly changing this. Nonetheless, you now "officially" know that the comments you left on the RFA page are inappropriate, so I consider this closed. Should you leave inappropriate comments again we'll just have to take the next step. -withinfocus 23:01, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikibooks talk:Blocking guideline

The text was now put forward as a guideline (not a policy, as User:Herbythyme indicates on his vote). and a guideline can be broken with justification (so new and unexpected situations will not be a problem). In any case it is better to have the guideline that to let it be open to personal interpretations and the text cover most of the problems and discussions we have been having in the last years in cases the block action was used. As for the situation of an "blocking and unblocking is not being bold", it all falls to what you consider bold is, bold in this case refers to edits/changes without considerations. I think you would agree that to revert a block at least some talks should take place between the unblocked to the blocker at least to explain why such action is desired (I think you will agree that some information must be passed before taking such action), in any case this is a guideline... --Panic 16:05, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] CU Chat

I'm starting a little discussion about CUs, in response to the concerns that you voiced on mike's RFA. I've started it at WB:SLC. I posted a few questions to get people started, feel free to present any other concerns that you have about CUs. --Whiteknight (Page) (Talk) 00:29, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

I was typing up my (long) post while you quick got there before me. The CU policy is at Meta, for reference. Have I addressed the concerns you raised?  – Mike.lifeguard | talk 00:54, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
Also, do you have IRC? You should join us.  – Mike.lifeguard | talk 00:56, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sorry I missed you

I saw you had logged on to IRC the other night, but I was AFK. I'd love to talk to you again :). --SB_Johnny | PA! 02:28, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
