Toby: You seem to gave endorsed both Wikitext and Wikibooks as name options. I'd like to argue in favor of Wikibooks. I've used Wikitext in writing some things, and I get myself confused (probably a personal problem, but there might be someone else just as stupid.. ;-) ). I think we should use Wikitext when we speak of the markup language, or any material that uses it. That would include 'pedia, 'quote, etc. Wikibook is an accurate description and allows the distinction between Wikitext and Wikibooks. LouI 11:26 29 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Yeah -- I use WikiText to describe wiki-editable text. --mav 11:29 29 Jul 2003 (UTC)

I do think that "Wikibooks" is probably better. (See my URL suggestion -- it uses that.) I just believe that "Wikitext" is also OK. I could well change my vote strategically to emphasise this if necessary. (Even in a non-binding survey, different voting patterns can have different strategic effects on the psychology of the reader. ^_^) -- Toby Bartels 14:14 29 Jul 2003 (UTC)
