I see that you added User:60.228.84.48 to Wikibooks:Vandalism in progress. As far as I can see, that user has made only two edits to World History/Age of Discovery & Imperialism, that doesn't really constitute a sustained attack, so doesn't really need to be reported. See Wikibooks:Dealing with vandalism for how to deal with newbie experiments like that. You did the right thing in reverting the damage. I have warned them, and I have added the page to my watch list, so I'll help by fixing any further damage when I see it. PS: I suspect that all of the 60.228.84.XX IP addresses belong to computers in the same classroom in a school somewhere. Geo.^T 13:33, 16 August 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for your comments on my talk page. Whilst one might get the idea that the wikibook is a personal project (since I did much of the work to start it out), it certainly isn't meant to be. This wikibook needs high visibility, and to send it off ot my user page would just obscure it and make it inaccessable by most users. I don't know everything that makes a good wikibook on foreign languages, so I want as much feedback and help in making this a comprehensive guide to make excellent wikibooks for foreign languages.

I speak English as my native language, but I am also learning Hebrew and hope to learn Japanese as well. I may even learn Spanish (out of necessity; I live in Texas). I was actually driven to make this wikibook after looking at the status of the Japanese wikibook and finding it difficult to follow it in many situations. I decided that what they and others needed was a set of guidelines to give them an idea of how to improve and plan out their book. I didn't want to limit the guidelines to just the Japanese wikibook, I wanted all the foreign language wikibooks to benefit from the guidelines.

Whilst I won't be able to help build content for most foreign language wikibooks at the moment, I can surely continue building the guidelines help you and other wikibookians make excellent wikibooks! --Mijokijo 14:25, 22 August 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Game theory.JPG. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikibooks because of copyright law, and requires that we maintain a strict copyright policy. The image that may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and status.

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikibooks are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikibooks:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information or giving false information can be deleted by an administrator.
