Hi, could you explain why you would like the page you created Cookbook:Red paella (mixed) deleted please? I know it is a copy of another page you created, but that one has the wrong name and has been redirected to the one you are requesting to be deleted. Is your intention to remove this recipe, or just to tidy things up so there is only one copy? Can I presume Cookbook:Red chicken and seafood paella is the one you want to keep? Thanks Unusual? - Ah, I see you have changed it to a redirect now - so no need for a deletion. Thanks. In future you would find it easier if you just moved the page to the new name you wanted. See the information above. Unusual? Quite TalkQu 22:48, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for editing. I went ahead and reviewed the thing, making it visible. Come and grab me if you need more reviews Geoff Plourde (talk) 03:53, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Sighting
Sighting occurs when a user with the editor flag either edits or ticks the review box for a page. You will receive the editor flag automatically when certain criteria are met. See Wikibooks:Editor#Editors_and_reviewers. Geoff Plourde (talk) 03:43, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
- Congratulations, the system has autopromoted you to editor. You should now be able to review up to featured levels. Geoff Plourde (talk) 02:19, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Hello
Please don't spam user talk pages as you did with the notice about WB:RFP - that is considered extremely poor form. Those who care about the request will see it. In any case, no "support" is needed for that request, so the notices are pointless. — Mike.lifeguard | talk 04:26, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- Allow me to chime into this conversation. It is considered polite to leave a comment for someone on their talk page as opposed to directly on their user page. Thenub314 (talk) 15:10, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Cookbook name casing
I noticed you moved a recipe to a sentence-case name. Looking through the recipes in the cookbook, I see a lot with title-case names and few with sentence-case names. While books are consistently made with title-case names, I see that Cookbook:Policy#Naming_Conventions states that recipes should be title-case as well. If you have a strong objection to this it may be beneficial to see how others feel on the talk page for that policy or in the reading room, otherwise you and other contributors to the cookbook will be working against each other. -- Adrignola talk contribs 16:13, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- I'm a little confused. Are you saying it's Wikibook policy to capitalize each noun in the name of the recipe page? Moby-Dick4000 (talk) 18:39, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- It sure looks to be the case from the Cookbook:Policy page. It does say that the convention is "de-facto" so that may mean that there wasn't a formal process in deciding this. I would think it came about to match the name casing of the textbooks in the main namespace but this was before my time here. -- Adrignola talk contribs 18:50, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yes I just read the policy. You seem to be right. I'll start using title case from now on. When I have the time, I'll remove the redirects I did that changed the recipe title casing. However, I have noticed many recipes that use sentence casing as I did, so this policy is not very well known among the contributors. Moby-Dick4000 (talk) 19:00, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
