[edit] US History
as described in the community board, I am active in a wikiversity course on US history.
The course instructor and I appear to have issues regarding the organization and content of the featured book "US history". we are writing a separate book, "united we stand" as a textbook that contains the organization and content we feel a textbook should contain.
I am interested in reaching parties willing to represent the current "US history." perhaps we can craft a compromise? please let us know what you think.

- Hullo! You have not created any "inconvenience"! Please don't mistake me. You are very much welcome to upload images or add content here. But Wikibooks is particular that the license information be mentioned in detail so that copyright problems don't arise in the future. This tag mainly serves to inform you that you ought to add licensing information. In fact, we encourage you to contribute public domain images or free content you have in your possession. And, by the way, I am extremely sorry for the delay. Thanks -RavichandarMy coffee shop 14:05, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Bulletin Board
I think you may misunderstand the purpose of the bulletin board, it is to list important news announcements, like Wikiversity:Announcements or Wikiversity:News. I think your looking for Wikibooks:Reading room/General for general community feedback. --darklama 14:23, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] River fishing
Made a fresh appeal to the group to consider contributing to the project River fishing here; Wikibooks:Reading_room/Projects#The_reason_for_being_of_the_book_River_Fishing_.28and_why_someone_might_consider_contributing.29
